Stoneage Map
I have opened this site because I'm a person who likes to know more about the nature, especially the past and how did the Stone Age People live.We can get some insight and how was their life and their interests.I came across on the above rock. Its just the same rock. The top image is the ventral one meaning the "underside with is own colour while the other image is dorsal "upperside".
I came across on this rock which is the size of two sizes of a palm hand when I visited one our waterfall Creek Falls at Sabie,Mpumalanga Province in South Africa. It looked like an African Map.I have marked with colors so that it should be easier to follow explanations and theories.
1.Ventral Side (the top one marked with Blue color on the bottom right)
There are certain threads(lines) which are marked.A question is,was it modified by someone or it was just exposed by the natural forces. If we want to know more, firstly we must know how does the nature act on rocks over a long time. The nature either breaks it or changes the colour in the same textures.Literally nature does not have "hands" to scrap rocks.Briefly it depends on the texture and absorption of heat and water including mineral composition and components. The Blue colour shows a gentle valley.Next to it there are "spots" which are 4.In between there are small spots. Why was nature Selective in the same texture and mineral composition?
2.Yellow T like Colour
There is a line from northwest to southwest. Another question why the nature drew such a line one half line, whereas the texture and minerals are the same say for the benefit of doubt of the colour was due to climate change.
3.The Black Colour
It has some interesting features. There is a 30° rectangle box where top corner is joined by the straight line denoting north and on top of that there is a sign< is visible opening for two marks. Was this the work of nature or Was it the Hand of God or the People of that particular Era?
Be as it is,if you happened to visit this area you shall find that the bottom image resembles the valley. If it was nature,it was suppose to break the whole piece of rock into big pieces.I suspect "someone curved it".There are Big Questions and there Possible reasons.
1.If you look at the landscape of this area,it is resembled by this tiny rock.
2.The rock is found on the banks of the of Sabie River next to the Waterfall.I suspect that was a map.
3.The left sliding side similar to the rock or it indicates the origins of this waterfall.
4.The Red bottom side indicate the "feeder" rivers which join the River from the waterfall.
Big Question 1 Who used this "map"?
Possible Answer: Anyone
Big Question 2 For what purpose?
Possible Answer: To direct and educate about the environment.
